Most people want to know what they're getting themselves into before they agree to something, and I'm going to assume that you're part of that group. So, before we jump right into writing, I'll do my best to lay out the basics for you.
So let's get to it!
The first person in the rotation will start off the chain with a short story on whatever they want. It can be about a dead boy and girl, a half-alien half-human mutant, or even a group of cannibalistic elves! Get creative!
The story should be no longer than a normal chapter in a book and should have no profanity or inappropriate relationships. We want to keep this as PG/PG-13 as possible. =)
Once they've submitted their piece, it'll go on to the next person on the list and once they're done, it'll be the next person's turn, and then the next, and the next, and the next, and . . . you get the point.
When your time does come, you will have two weeks to submit your piece. That time frame might change if this advances into the summer months.
There might be quite a few people participating in this, so because of that, you may only end up writing once or twice, depending on how long this goes on. And who knows how long that'll be!
There's always the option to skip your turn if things are just getting too busy for you and we can try to fit you in later on if you wish. If that happens, just shoot Elizabeth or I an email or text and we'll correct the rotation. The later will be posted on the blog once we've finished gathering les auteurs, and so will always be there for your reference. If something gets changed on the rotation, the correction will be highlighted on that post and one of us will alert you by email or other means.
And I believe that'll be it for now! We're so glad you decided to join us!
If you still have questions, just comment below and either Elizabeth or I will answer them as best we can.
Have a great week!
